the best part of this is the action within the shot, its not static like most photographs, it has an almost alien sort of feeling when you look at it, the viewer can't help but ask a million questions of the piece and its setting:
"Where is this?" "What is she?" "Whats going on?"
The job of an artist of any sort is to create a story for the audience to either create or understand, and you have done the ladder in a graceful yet terrifying way.
to me, the story is of a post-apocalyptic race of humans who were forced to find a refuge in underwater cities because we polluted out air so badly, and this particular creature wanted to see what the old world looked like.
Great piece!

This is very interesting to me hard to tell direction of the water, It could be from above or below, which i find to be a great form of misdirection. I like the color choice as well the blue teal tint adds allot for the feel of water and the effects there of... The mask is strange to me and yet compels me to ask for mommy" <doctor Who> fan. But also gives the impression that they are ether a water breather coming to the top side or a air breather getting ready to go under. The overall effect is nice. I must also mention the sleeves, i like the motion from the water to the sleeves.
