It's an emotive piece.

The contrast and balance are fantastic and the focus is perfect for what you've created. Off-center subjects are a favorite of mine and so of course, I love that as well. The plain background is great as well. To be completely honest with you I would have to be extremely nit-picky to find a flaw in this shot. Fantastic work!

Critiques
I feel when looking at the expression on the subjects face a forlorn sense, as though contemplating the ends of the earth. I think the expression in the eyes is what pervades the sentiment. It almost seems innocent at first, but you could interpret this in many ways, like maybe questioning ones sanity.
Also the placement of the subject, off to one side, seems to create an atmosphere of abandonment.
All told a very interesting piece!
Thank you for sharing!
The model, for a start, is a man. Hardly ever do we see shots like this of males. Usually it's just female. So well done on that
Next thing, is that, in most parts, its very sharp. I think there are some soft areas but that may be dA.
I can't really think of much you could improve on apart from the cropping of the picture. For me, it could be a bit further out, but then again the picture suits the cropping you have at the moment.
I guess this isn't really a critique, but honestly it has been composed excellently.
The only thing I can think of is the shoulders blend in to the background quite a lot, and I'm not sure about that. Oh, and the fingers are chopped off by the crop.
